Ahmet Özkan, Ph.D.

Born in 1976 in Istanbul, Mr. Ahmet Özkan completed high school education at Fatih Anatolian High School. He graduated from Marmara University, Department of ELT, in 1999.

He worked as an English teacher and planning coordinator in various language courses. He was part of the editorial team of English magazines and test books for national English exams. He gave seminars in different fields such as language education and career planning.

 

As of 2010, he focused more on management and consulting activities, and got his MA Degree from the University of Maltepe with a thesis entitled “A study on literature use of ELT teachers with an ELT background and those with a literature background in their reading classes”.

 

In 2014, he started his doctoral studies in the Department of education programs and teaching at Abant Izzet Baysal University Institute of Educational Sciences and conducted his thesis on ‘High School students’ expectations of success in English courses and their perceptions of the importance of these expectations and its relation to success'.

 

He went on working in the same field, consultancy, in 2015 and until 2019 he continued he worked for DIA Consulting Company. As of 2019, Mr. Özkan started to work in both corporate and individual education consultancy fields at R&M Consultancy. He is married with three children.
