Denver Developmental Screening Test

Denver Developmental Screening Test is a widely used assessment for examining children 0-6 years of age as to their developmental progress.

Screening non-symptomatic developmental problems,

Verifying suspicious situations with objective criteria,

For the follow-up of the children developmentally at risk (for example, the babies who had problems just before the birth process)

 

It consists of 116 items and 4 sub-sections and applied by a specialist. The parents must be present during the test.

 

After getting some information about the child the application starts. The items of the test that are about the mother are directed to mother and the items which need to be performed by the child are expected from the child. The standard instruction must be followed when testing. It is completed in 5 to 15 minutes.
